Embossed tiles are created by cutting and aligning sheets of glass, then bringing them to a full fusing temperature of over 1,500ยบ F. When the glass is at temperature, the kiln is opened and a special tools is pressed by hand into the glass. The tile is then annealed, to ensure that it will be stress-free and ready to set into your wall as an accent or focus item. They can also be framed, and displayed as a unique artwork item.
