The window is seen as a main feature as the worshippers exit the building at the end of the worshippers' path. The theme is based on the text, “Behold, the field is white already to harvest.” There are component elements of wheat and rice, western and eastern grains which symbolize “the bread of life.” The clear glass arcs are seen as sickles of light, cutting through the design. The overall configuration of the glass, while utilizing these themes, is also integrated with the architectural structure of the frame and opening, achieving the balance between these two elements that was sought. |
